Brampton Dentures

Dentures are false teeth that are manufactured to restore the smile and function in the event an individual losses their teeth. As we age, illness or incident can reduce the amount of healthy natural teeth, your dentist might recommend a choice of dentures. Dentures are created to fit securely inside the mouth, they can be reinforced by the oral tissues and prevailing neighbouring teeth.

Our smiles are an important part of our individuality and every individual possesses their own distinctive smile. Our goal is always to make certain our patients attain their natural looking smile by personalizing your dentures.

The two forms of dentures are either partial dentures or complete dentures.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are recommended when all of the teeth on the bottom or top jaw or both jaws require replacement. These dentures are fabricated by acrylic or porcelain materials which are designed to resemble your natural teeth.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture has a plastic base containing one or several false teeth within it; it’s created using plastic or metal and also has clips that affix around present teeth.  In addition to the preliminary assessment and placement of partial dentures on the teeth, your dentist may request more visits as a way to fine-tune the partial dentures to ensure they fit as pleasantly as possible. .

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are applied once one or more teeth are removed from an individual’s mouth. When a patient is missing  one or more teeth and does not want to wait until their gums have completely healed from tooth extraction then immediate dentures would be the ideal option.

Immediate dentures have some great benefits. The primary benefit is that a patient can wear immediate dentures right away. Immediate dentures also allow for faster healing.  Speaking might also be much easier as the change to dentures is going to be quicker, compared to being required to learn how to speak without dentures and then re-learn to speak with dentures.
